INFORMATION IN ENGLISH

Dear visitor. Unfortunately we do not have the capacity this year to translate the full website and the artist biographies into English or any other language, but hopefully this page will answer most of your questions:

The Oslo Grieg Festival
The Oslo Grieg Festival is organized by the Oslo Grieg Society, and takes place June 5-12 in Oslo, at different concert venues. Although being a small festival, the Grieg Festival presents several of the most important and well known performers of classical music in Norway today, together with young up-and-coming performers, and even the very youngest "stars" at the Children's concert.
The aim of the Oslo Grieg Society is to promote the music of Edvard Grieg, but the festival presents music from the whole classic repertory, as well as newly written music in the yearly Grieg Society Composers' Competition Concert.

The concerts take place at different venues in Oslo. Clicking on the name of the concert venue in the program will take you to a map, showing you the location of the venue.
